Catherine first came to yoga seeking balance — to support her physically active lifestyle and to better navigate mental and emotional stress. Early in her practice she experienced a memorable moment during an asana class: a deep, unmistakable sense of peace. Over time, she noticed yoga’s benefits extending far beyond the studio walls, and when she was introduced to yoga as a spiritual practice, she became deeply inspired.

Her desire to study more deeply and eventually share yoga as a teacher has been guided by the ancient wisdom of the tradition and the teachers who shaped her path. With gratitude, Catherine draws influence from the Krishnamacharya lineage, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and teachers including Peter Elmas and Nicki Doane.

Her classes emphasize breath-coordinated movement and cultivate a thoughtful balance of effort and ease, offering a practice that nourishes body, mind, and spirit.
